The new radiotherapy institute at Shaare Zedek hospital will be a national center for cancer treatment, offering the latest medical technologies and advanced cancer treatment methods in the world.
It will mark Shaare- Zedek Medical Center as one of the most advanced medical centers in Israel.
The center construction plans include the construction of a Radiotherapy Institute building with a 750 spaces underground parking lot.
Other foundation work will include the following wards: children's in-patient and out-patient wards, internal medicine, surgery, a women and maternity ward, intensive care, out-patiant wards, an emergency room and an administration department.
An artistic wooden butterfly-shaped structure on the hospital’s south yard will provide a shaded area for the visitors and hospital employees.
